# How much does an AI chatbot or voice agent cost?

The short answer

An AI chatbot or voice agent has two costs: building it and running it. We build one inbound or outbound flow, connected to your CRM, from ₹23,000 (about $540) per agent, in about 4–5 weeks. Running costs — phone minutes and AI model usage — are billed at cost, so you pay what the provider charges, with no markup.

## What changes the build cost

- Channels — website chat, WhatsApp, phone calls, or several of them.
- What it does — answer questions only, or also book appointments, take orders and qualify leads.
- Connections — your CRM, calendar, booking system or order data.
- Languages — English only, or Hindi, Telugu and other languages as well.
- Hand-off — how and when it passes a conversation to a person, with the full context.

## Running costs

Every conversation uses AI model time, and phone calls also use telephony minutes. These scale with how busy you are. We pass them through at cost and show them on a usage dashboard, so there are no surprises.

## Chatbot, voice agent or AI agent?

A chatbot or voice agent talks to your customers. An AI agent works behind the scenes — reading documents, entering data, researching leads or preparing replies for review. Workflow agents start from ₹20,000 (about $480) per agent.
